A wildcamp on Friday the 13th? Why ever not!
We parked up at the Yorkshire Bridge Inn around 8ish with the intention of camping up on the Kinder plateu, Crookstone Knoll being the obvious choice. After a long walk around the reserviour admiring the evening light upon the calm waters we headed upwards. By the time we got up towards the plateu we were starting to get a little short on light. After seeing a few souls up top obviously having the same idea we found a loverly flat spot just shy of the summit and got the tents up sharpish. A great spot and a great night followed by bacon. Loverly.
After such a treat it was time to pack up, clear the area and head back to the car via Win Hill for a spot of Trig Point surfing it the wind.
