This was my first experience of a no frills night in a bivvy out on the hills. Given were now in the peak of the great British summer and my cheap tent weighs more then your dad I thought it high time I gave it a go. With the weather forecast not looking as favourable as I would have liked I found myself in the car straight after work heading down to the Peaks. Check out the video for a little flavour of our night, I for one will be swapping the tent for a bivvy & tarp a lot more!
P.s. Beer will ruin any weight saved, but it tastes good!
